The Mile High Swinging Bridge is a 228-foot suspension footbridge located at Grandfather Mountain in Linville, North Carolina. True to its name, the bridge sits at an elevation of 5,280 feet (one mile) and offers visitors a 360-degree panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
